Home of the giants

Jotunheimen is the area of Norway’s highest mountain. In between these there are several glaciers. We offer adventures at the largest glacier (Smørstabbreen) and surrounding mountains. The camp are only five minutes walk from the road, and the hotel is within walking distance. It takes 45 minutes to walk to the glacier, mostly in easy terrain.

Europe’s largest glacier

The Jostedal glacier is the largest glacier on the European continent. Here are plenty of blue ice, snow-covered glacier and crevasses. We have a hut at the southern edge. It is demanding to reach at 994 metres, but once there the location is unique and rewarding. From the hut it takes only ten minutes to walk to the blue ice.
